Top Honeymoon Destinations in Exotix Island
After the big day is over, then you can begin the best part of the wedding ceremony – heading off to your honeymoon, a sliver of time in which to unwind and spend hour after hour of quality time together. The best honeymoon destinations offer this opportunity, along with a chance to explore a foreign land, or just laze away beneath the palm trees in paradise.
For similar reasons, the Caribbean is home to many of the world’s best honeymoon destinations. Whether you prefer the reggae beats of Jamaica, verdant hills of Saint Lucia or the exotic colonial appeal of Barbados, the Gulf of Mexico has something for you. Bermuda and the Virgin Islands (primarily St. Thomas) are the most popular trips to take, but top honeymoon destinations can be found just by closing your eyes and pointing at a map of this region. The Cayman Islands are another place that spends a lot of time catering to new couples.
Some couples prefer the innate sexiness of Europe over sandy beaches, which is why millions make their way to romance capitals such as Paris, London and Rome each year after their nuptials. France and Italy have long fashioned themselves as lands for lovers, and one trip across the Atlantic will prove just why. There’s nothing like seeing your lover in the soft light along the Seine in Paris at night, or amidst the ruins of Rome. The whispers of the Mediterranean often bring out the best in newlyweds, as the South of France and the Greek Islands also have a broad appeal, and are easily amongst the world’s best honeymoon destinations.
The South Pacific is another place to relax and begin wedded bliss. Tahiti, Bora Bora and Fiji are all top honeymoon destinations, each offering their own take on honeymoon packages and blessed seclusion. It’s further out of the way than more traditional honeymoon trips, and that’s what makes it so nice. You can sit safely away with your new spouse and take in isolated lagoons, moonlit dinners and exquisite sunsets to your heart’s content.

Top and Favorite Honeymoon Destinations in the world
It’s an eternal question couples are faced with in the dawn of the announcement that they will be getting married. For most couples, the honeymoon is the most eventful part of their marriage because it is the exact time that they would be consummating their relationship as husband and wife. A popular choice among newlyweds is a beach but basically honeymoons are meant to be shared by the couple in a place where they could actually forget about the hustle and bustle of daily life and the stress that accompanies everyday living.
These are some of the best Honeymoon Destinations that you might want to consider:
1. Bahamas – anyone would say Bahamas is the best honeymoon destination. Despite the fact that it attracts a majority of American tourists the place still has some little secrets that gives you the seclusion and privacy that your honeymoon should have. Long, lingering walks on the beautiful sandy beaches while holding hands with your partner is a piece of paradise already.
2. Barbados – speaking of a beach honeymoon, Barbados gives you the perfect beach holiday. Even if you’re just on a normal vacation with your wife, Barbados has something beautiful and exciting to offer you. Water sports and the amazing scenery make for a full-bodied experience. The Platinum Coast has white sand and pristine beach waters while the Atlantic coast boasts of a more raw beauty.
3. Reykjavik – for adventurous couples who are after the excitement and peculiarity of the experience rather than the usual and ordinary, Reykjavik offers a diverse experience. Hot springs and glaciers find themselves in one place, cool bars and warm bonfires at night pretty much describes a portion of your honeymoon in Rekyjavik.
4. Paris – aside from the usual beaches, if you ask anyone what their ideal destination is, it would be Paris. The name alone reeks of romance and there’s no better place to fall in-love all over again than in Paris. It’s not exactly the cheapest honeymoon destination but it will all be worth it. Long, romantic walks by the Seine and Sacree Coeur are free so you can take advantage of that. Avoid acting like a tourist and you’ll enjoy Paris for what it’s worth.
5. Venice – Venice is up there with Paris in terms of romantic ambience. It seems to be the most obvious choice for a honeymoon. Elegant architecture and long and winding canals make up the mood. Just make sure you time your trips right because the vast amount of tourists make the experience seem less of a getaway.
6. Seychelles – The coast of Africa has a little piece of heaven known as Seychelles. The string of beaches surrounding this coast is all fairly new and without a touch of capitalist hands. Couples will enjoy frolicking on the powder soft sands and wading in the warm ocean.
7. New York – for couples who dances to a different beat and would pretty much prefer a high strung honeymoon than a slow one, New York definitely has everything you could wish for. If seclusion is not an issue, New York is the place to be. The city has magnificent hotel rooms that could serve as your sanctuary after buzzing out in the city during the day.
Favorite Travel Destination - Boracay beach Vacation
I have had the privilege of visiting Boracay twice already. First one was back in 2003 with my siblings, all remaining singles. We took a domestic flight from Manila to Kalibo via Cebu Pacific Airlines. From there, at the Kalibo airport, we took a road trip in a van to Caticlan Jetty port. We enjoyed a fun, refreshing boat ride to the island itself, Boracay. There is a breath-taking view while cruising in the boat ride. There were three stations in the island, depending on where your hotel/cottage is that you're staying at, or if you want to take a leisure walk along the cool sand of the Boracay beach, that is where you get off and start your adventure in Boracay. Second time we went there was in 2005 with our loving parents. It also depends on what season you visit Boracay where the wind blows or is coming at. The crowd usually packs in heavily during the summertime in the Philippines, from March to May. There is also a bit of a difference in the cottage/hotel rates if it is peak season or not.
There are many cool activities to engage in while vacationing at Boracay. Some of which includes island hopping, Paraw ride (like sailing), beach volleyball, disco dancing, shopping for souvenirs, even bike riding along its sand walkway, among many others.
There has been an issue going on with regards to the ownership of the island between the government and the resort owners, the inhabitans of Boracay. Hopefully, this matter would be settled for the common good on what will be best for Boracay. Every Filipino has the best interests at heart of every part in our country. We would not like to see the selfish interests of politicians, if ever it may be, just filling in their pockets. We were able to witness the Boracay locals holding a public rally, an outcry for their rights. Let Boracay continue living up to what it's made for, a great place for a vacation get-away for everyone, and good tourism, successful entrepreneurship for its businessmen and joy to the locals.
